I'm super excited to feature this next one. This is the mom of our two- or three-time bad hair-haver, known to me through derby as BAM. My mother would NEVER submit a photo (this is a dare, Mom), so I applaud this effort.

This week, the weather in Houston is suddenly lovely. Last week, this is what happened if you went outside in the 107 degree, 80% humidity.

We were all a little grumpy. But turn that frown upside down now! We have dropped out of the 100s, and even out of the 90s!!

I still need bad hair, though. So let's all work on that together.

Post After-Party Hair

I haven't made the site much since I hurt my shoulder. Most of my bad hair is due to derby + late night shower + sleep with wet hair. I didn't skate the other night, but I did hit the after party in a smoky bar and took a shower right before bed. The photos don't do it justice. It was like a lion's mane.
