Don't look at me! I'm hideous!

Not really. There's only beauty here. But I DO like it when people send me photos and they have their eyes closed. It makes me think that they are having trouble looking at themselves. And yet...they still send a photo for my site. Thanks, Elle! :)

I was strictly ordered to somehow blur out this Morning Face. It was hard to do, as there was a natural beauty AND a lovely expression present. However, thanks to Picnik, I applied this Christmas ball, leaving the eyes so you can all see how hard it is to look this good in the morning.

Humidity v No Humidity

Houston has a lot of humidity. This has positive and negative effects. Positive: my skin feels great here. Negative: hair responds to humidity like little kids to massive amounts of chocolate.

Let's take a gander at one of the muses of this blog. Here we have her morning hair with humidity.

And here, while on Thanksgiving vacation, in a state with no humidity.

I think it's a good thing for my blog that I live and have lots of friends in a humid place.

I'm in Colorado for the WFTDA Roller Derby Championship and it's been amazing. The altitude here has a strange effect on hair, as seen here.

What's Wrong with This Picture?

Nothing. I was accused of not liking it since it got lost in the shuffle and never made it onto the blog. (Really, it's because I was sent a text in the morning before coffee. That's my guess.) There is so much RIGHT with this photo, there's no way I'd exclude it on purpose. The hair! The face! The green phone! The face!

But it's the HOLDING that matters. I'd like to think that the altitude in Colorado has something to do with this height.

If The 80s Were Now...

So much Morning Hair recalls the 80s. Why is that? This could be a shot of someone about to hit up Duran Duran. The bottom half of the shot is a pair of tight, acid-washed jeans (which unfortunately are coming back into style, I think). You can't see her giant pink plastic hoop earrings because of the hair. If we could somehow make the 80s transcend time and always be with us, then we could all wake up and go right on with our lives with this kind of hair. Then again--not everyone can achieve this look without the help of Aqua-Net.
