Hey, all! I am super wrapped up in things like kids, my other blog, and derby. Oh, and writing a novel. I need a few days break, but will leave you with this gem. Keep the photos coming and I'll put them up as soon as I get back.

I love when people send me hair. I don't get a lot of hair from guys. So I'm posting this, but I kinda think that this could be a lot worse. So, I'm pinning on that ribbon they make for trying, and challenging you to do better next time. Don't tell me that's all you've got because I think you could be in a boy band with that hair.
I didn't write a dissertation, only a thesis for my grad degree, but I still can attest to some wild swings in my personal hygiene and/or style. Good luck with your PhD!
I'm not sure if that's how you spell the name for what Doc used to power his time machine in Back to the Future, but this little lady could use one. If she shot straight back to 1991, she would be the belle of the ball with those bangs.
I received this submission from a friend who is in Paris. Paris is known as a city for love or the city of lights. Maybe it needs a new name.
Upon seeing this photo of me, someone asked, "How did you snag your husband?" That's a great question! I was thinking it was because of my stunning personality, but then I realized: we never lived together before we were married, so he never SAW this. Doh.
Wild and wooly! There's got to be a payoff when you have very curly hair, so congrats!!! You deserve this award. Don't spend it all in one place.

This is probably my most magnificent hair ever, and it's even better because it means I'm back to derbying. I think my hair sort of stayed in ponytails, despite being washed last night.
I'm super excited to feature this next one. This is the mom of our two- or three-time bad hair-haver, known to me through derby as BAM. My mother would NEVER submit a photo (this is a dare, Mom), so I applaud this effort.

This is just sort of classic long morning hair. All on one side, a little up in the middle, a little limp and raggedy. Overall, a 9.5.
This week, the weather in Houston is suddenly lovely. Last week, this is what happened if you went outside in the 107 degree, 80% humidity.

I would like to enter my photo for the my morning hair contest. I just can't keep this mess under control.
I haven't made the site much since I hurt my shoulder. Most of my bad hair is due to derby + late night shower + sleep with wet hair. I didn't skate the other night, but I did hit the after party in a smoky bar and took a shower right before bed. The photos don't do it justice. It was like a lion's mane.
Knowing cats, I'm not sure if this one is just really so proud of his owner....OR thoroughly enjoying the humiliation of such bad hair.
For the second week in a row, Sunnie takes home the award. Well-deserved, I say. Tomorrow I'll be back with more awesomely bad hair so keep the photos coming!
